In the prepreg winding technique, resin-impregnated scrims or fabric mats (prepegs) are wound around metal mandrels which are removed again after curing in the oven. This process can be used to influence both the layer structure and the fibre angle. Advantages of this technique: uncomplicated prototype production and optimal production process for reliable series production.

Sports, leisure and lifestyle as well as Defense (in mine detectors) have also long been revolutionized. Almost no sports article is conceivable without fiber composites.
