Technical Information: Arbors made of carbon

one of our most successful products is a carbon shaft with a bearing ring and a hub.

These shafts are especially known for smooth rotation and optimum fit we are able to develop and manufacture individual and specific shafts together with and for our customers.

We differentiate between shafts from carbon beams and UD and structural prepreg tubes

Shafts made of carbon beams:

these shaft have a diameter from 4mm to 12mm and can be fitted with different clearance groove

the sag of a 10m (± 0,03) beam is less than 0,3mm at 1000mm length

UD and structural prepreg shafts:

the configuration can be tuned for the later field of application

the cores are defining the inner diameter describe the inner diameter and will be leveled in prior the production

we achieve a flex/sag of less than 0,3mm at 1000.

Mashining:

the shafts can be individually adjusted on modern CNC machines

we are able to machine and fit hubs, bearing rings, rollers and so on to the exact requirement.
