Tubes
we are able to produce GPR and CFRP tubes applying 3 different processes
Prepreg filament wound pipes / roller laminated tubes:
Prepreg Rolled Laminated Tubes
we use resin saturated reinforcement matting, so called "prepregs", to fabricate these tubes, these prepregs are wound around metal bolts (cores), using a special winding mode the inner diameter is given by the bolt, the outer diameter depends on the wall thickness of the material the advantage of this procedure is the ability to influence the configuration of the layering in order to achieve different angles of strand arrays ( 0? to 90? ) maximum length is 2500mm ( see core list ).
Pultruded tubes:
for the pultrusion method, we draw roving thru a mold in a continuing process, while simultaneously adding resin
we can also influence the angle of strand array and we are able to produce a multitude of individual lengths
Filament winding tubes:
roving are wound around rotating cores while adding resin
strand orientation angles can only be influenced in a limited way
maximum length 4500mm (see core list)
